Language Examinations

These are internationally recognized British exams testing language knowledge and skills in the context of natural language communication needed to perform a job, study or in everyday life. The exam has a standalone aural part – SESOL.

This type of exam is focused on testing practical language skills. The communication is accentuated rather than the knowledge of selected vocabulary or specific grammar structures; the test sheet does not include any separate grammar part (the grammar knowledge is tested and evaluated within other language skills). The examinations do not require any specific preparatory course or specific textbooks. The examination is aimed at language skills - it is not focused on the strategy of being successful in exams. The written part is assessed by independent examiners from the United Kingdom. A revolutionary electronic grading system is applied ("e-pen").
